About the Series, from the Artist:

My wave paintings are aimed at putting you there, right on the water.  I create these works as an everyday escape -- a way to be transported to the sea for those who love the water.  I want viewers to have a similar feeling looking at these paintings as they do at the water:  breath deep, soak it in. 

One couple who bought a Wave Series painting of mine calls it their ocean view.  Another man, whose wife had purchased a Wave Series painting (without him seeing it before!), came up to me at a restaurant soon after.  He told me that a few days before he had an asthma attack and did not have his inhaler handy.  He was at home, and he tried meditating to regulate his breathing, but that didn’t work.  He decided to try focusing on the new painting (titled Calm Day).  He said that standing in front of the painting he was able to calm his breathing (thank goodness).  The painting took him there.
